Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a team of Frontline Sales/Activity Operators to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Ensuring smooth daily operations, including customer service, staffing, and technical troubleshooting
• Upholding safety and security protocols
• Assisting with marketing and promotional efforts
• Maintaining inventory and proposing enhancements for an improved customer journey
• Handling administrative tasks independently, such as inquiries, event preparation, group bookings, and financial reconciliations

Position Details

Position: Site Manager

Anzsco Code: Retail Manager 142111

Work Hours: Rotational shift pattern, minimum 30 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays (8 am - 10 pm)

Rate of Pay: $26 - $30 per hour (based on experience) + monthly sales bonuses (up to $500)

Type of Employment: Full-time permanent

Location: 28 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna Auckland

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tourism or a related field
• Experience with Virtual Reality, Escape Games, or similar activities
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle inquiries and complaints
• Previous team leadership experience
• Capability to train new staff on activities and processes
• Familiarity with booking tools and POS systems like Fareharbor, Rezdy, Lightspeed, or similar
