We are a semi-rural secondary school located just 35 minutes northwest of the Auckland CBD in Helensville. We acknowledge the mana whenua of the South Kaipara, Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara, and strive to create a sense of belonging and success for every student.

Position: Social Sciences Teacher

Kaipara College is looking for an exceptional, collaborative, and relationships-focused team member to join our social sciences faculty. The ability to teach Japanese is a plus for this role. We are seeking a teacher who is enthusiastic about high-impact pedagogical practices that incorporate universal design for learning, mātauranga Māori, numeracy and literacy strategies, and support all students in achieving excellence.

This position is ideal for both beginning teachers (PCT) and experienced educators. We encourage applicants to specify their specialist subject in their application. Teachers at our college are expected to actively participate in the co-curricular activities of the school.

Strong support from the faculty and the school community will be provided to ensure the success of the chosen candidate. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and contributing to a vibrant learning community, we would love to hear from you.
