Are you an AV/Event technician looking to broaden your experience?

Are you an AV/Event technician with a real knack for people and looking to broaden your experience? Our team is looking for a Technical Account Manager to work alongside one of our most valued customers in delivering a broad range of outstanding events – from weddings to corporate events to large multi-day, multi-room indoor and outdoor major events. A diverse workday will not be an issue in this role!

What You'll Do as a Technical Account Manager:

As the Technical Account Manager, you will be based on-site at one of New Zealand's largest multi-room event centers. You will be responsible for the complete event – from working with the client and the venue at the quote stage to the delivery of all audio-visual services for each event – and for the larger events, the crew lead for the team of technicians supporting you. It’s your show - from start to finish.

Requirements to Succeed in this Role:

• Have a real passion for events and audio-visual solutions like the rest of us!
• Enjoy being hands-on with audio-visual equipment – you understand the standard of your audio-visual setups is a reflection both on Edwards and you.
• Be uniquely focused on delivering the best customer experience possible.
• Have a real knack for the details and be supremely organized to ensure that nothing – and we mean nothing – falls through the cracks.
• Understand that the events industry is a 24/7 game – weekend and after-hours work is required.
• Be adaptable – as you know, change in the Events Industry is a constant, so you must be comfortable with change and work collaboratively with our Operations team to achieve outcomes.
• Be able to work to timelines – you are disciplined and have time management skills second to none.
• Understand what it means to work in a team environment and how to add value to the organization.

Qualifications Needed:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in the Events Industry, and you will need to have proven audio-visual solution experience.
