Job requirements:

- Trade Assistants and Heavy Fabricators - Basic Grinding & Welding Skills - Ability to operate basic Power & Hand Tools - Certifying compartments are safe to enter before commencing work (Gas Testing) - Operate mobile plants such as Forklifts, Elevated Work Platforms, and Class 4 Truck with HIAB or Crane attachment

Job responsibilities:

- Execute a range of Trade Assistant tasks associated with ship and shore-based Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, and Installation activities - Hot Work & Fire Sentry - Confined Space Sentry - Working at Height Sentry - Surface preparation for coatings application (Grinding, Sanding, Chipping, or Abrasive Blasting) - Coatings applications (Painting) - Worksite Cleaning - Tasks as directed by superiors - Work collaboratively with other departments of the Business

Qualifications:

- Relevant experience in a similar role - Trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential

Skills:

- Strong attention to detail - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Good communication skills
