About Us

We are looking for a talented and experienced Venue Manager to lead the opening of an exciting new Whiskey and Cocktail lounge in the CBD. This unique bar will feature a world-class selection of Whiskies and award-winning cocktails, offering a dynamic and engaging environment for both customers and staff.

Job Responsibilities

The Venue Manager will be responsible for managing a team of dedicated and hard-working bartenders in a fast-paced cocktail setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on customer service and team development. Key responsibilities include:

• Achieving sales and cost of goods targets
• Cultivating a positive work environment and promoting teamwork
• Training and developing staff members
• Representing the high-energy concept of the bar and ensuring its success

Requirements

The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role
• Previous leadership experience
• Excellent knowledge of wines and cocktails
• LCQ certificate and current General Manager's Certificate
• Strong understanding of NZ Liquor licensing laws
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa
