WorkDay Functional Lead Full-time Job

About the Role

Are you an experienced Workday Functional Lead/Consultant looking to take on a challenging role in Auckland? We are currently seeking a skilled individual to lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday HR modules in a large public sector organization. As a vital member of the people systems team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful deployment, optimization, and integration of Workday within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, configuration, and implementation of Workday HR modules to align with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on Workday functionality, best practices, and system optimizations.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for successful implementation.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and oversee post-implementation support and maintenance.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementing Workday HR modules.
• Workday certifications are advantageous.
• Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, particularly Workday, and related technologies.
• Proven leadership experience in leading complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
