Job requirements

- Hold a Social Work Qualification and/or Full Registration - Current Annual Practicing Certificate with the New Zealand Social Worker Registration Board - Understanding of Tikanga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi - Knowledge of Oranga Tamariki Act and Youth Justice processes - Full, clean driver's licence

Job responsibilities

- Work in partnership with rangatahi, their whānau, police, youth advocates, and government and community support services - Address underlying factors contributing to offending to reduce lifelong criminal behavior - Provide positive influence on rangatahi and whānau in the community - Provide professional written and verbal feedback to the courts

Qualifications

- Social Work Qualification with Full Registration - Current Annual Practising Certificate with the New Zealand Social Worker Registration Board
