The Role

Step into a newly created Accountant role with a high level of autonomy and ownership. In this position, you will be responsible for a specific unit within the business, positioning yourself as the go-to finance expert. Reporting to the Financial Controller and supporting the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Producing month-end P&L and Balance Sheet
• Monthly financial and management reporting
• Assisting with statutory reporting
• Process improvements initiation
• Financial analysis and information provision to management
• Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this role will possess an Accounting degree with 3-4 years of relevant work experience. You may be CA/CPA qualified, in the process of obtaining certification, or have equivalent experience. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be actively collaborating with management and stakeholders. A passion for learning, curiosity, and enthusiasm for your work will set you apart as a standout candidate.

Location and Benefits

Located in South Auckland, the company will be moving to new offices in December 2024. Flexible working arrangements are supported, providing you with a healthy work-life balance. In addition to a stimulating work environment, the role offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $105,000, along with free onsite parking.
