Role Requirements

To excel in this role, you should be a CA or CPA qualified professional with at least 5 years of experience in the New Zealand CA environment. Your expertise in statutory reporting, compliance, and business services will be crucial. Ideally, you should possess strong client-servicing skills and the ability to manage relationships with key clients effectively. Experience in IFRS reporting and complex group structures will be highly advantageous.

Main Responsibilities

As a senior accountant or client manager in this role, you will be responsible for various duties, including: - Preparation of annual financial statements for larger group entities - Group consolidations - NZ IFRS reporting - Preparation of sets of accounts subject to external auditing - Tax planning and periodic tax returns - KPI reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting - Acting as a primary point of contact for clients - Building and managing client relationships - Assisting clients with accounting systems - Handling ad hoc tasks and projects
