Desired Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a proactive attitude, commercial acumen, and strong technical skills. Previous experience in preparing annual financial accounts for large companies and groups is highly desirable. Strong communication skills are a must for effective collaboration within the team and with clients. A minimum of 2.5 years' experience in BAS, preferably in a medium-sized or larger Chartered Accounting firm in NZ, is required.

Competitive Salary and Work Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year for a 40-hour workweek. In addition, employees are entitled to two extra Accountants Days off per year, with some flexibility in start and finish times. While occasional work-from-home options are available, on-site presence is preferred for this role.
