Job Description:
As a National Business Development Manager at PPG, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining market share and driving sales of PPG products and services within the collision repair market in New Zealand. Your primary focus will be on engaging with large end-users, consolidators, franchises, and multi-branch operations throughout the country. You will collaborate closely with the National Sales Manager and Regional Sales Managers to support the sales team in targeting and securing competitor business, particularly in the Collision and Refinish LIC Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Adherence to EH&S guidelines and procedures for safe work practices and educating customers.
- Increase sales and profit of PPG Automotive Refinish products through business development opportunities.
- Identify competitor business and work towards securing preferred supplier status with customers.
- Participate in strategic planning, market research, and maintaining pricing comparisons.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in winning new business within the Refinish or related market.
- Ability to build high-level relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strategic planning and market research skills.
- Familiarity with PPG’s business services and software offerings.
