Join Our Team as a Laboratory Technician!

Flinders Cook Technical Services is an independent chemical testing laboratory located in central Auckland, providing analytical and quality assurance services to various industries in New Zealand. We are currently seeking a dedicated technician to join our friendly and supportive team in a permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Become familiar with laboratory testing procedures, maintenance, and calibrations
• Contribute to bulk liquid surveying and isotainer inspection services

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Science, majoring in Chemistry or related discipline
• Good time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent team player with strong communication, report writing, and computer skills
• Hold a current NZ driver's license and own vehicle

Prior experience in a commercial laboratory is not required as full training will be provided. The standard working hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional work outside of these hours for bulk liquid surveying requirements.
