About Us

Grinding Gear Games, the renowned creators of the dark fantasy Action RPG Path of Exile, are looking to expand their talented team. With over 180 developers in Auckland, New Zealand, this world-class studio is on the lookout for experienced C++ UI Programmers to join their Path of Exile 2 development team.

Position Details

Location: On-site in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand Relocation assistance available for the right candidate Full-time position, 40 hours a week

Responsibilities

- Provide software development services - Design UI elements for Path of Exile using modern C++ - Plan, maintain, analyze, and review programming code implementations - Maintain consistent communication with directors and colleagues - Work efficiently to meet strict deadlines and schedules

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of modern C++ - Excellent communication skills - At least 6 months of commercial game programming experience in a professional studio - Ability to pass a technical C++ programming test (approximately one hour long)

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Path of Exile game
