The Role

As a Casual Peer Support Specialist, you'll fill in for permanent team members as needed, with varying shifts available 24/7. You'll work alongside a dedicated team at Tupu Ake, supporting individuals experiencing mental illness in a homely and caring setting.

You

If you have a period of wellness and experience working in a recovery-focused manner, we want to hear from you. You should also hold a current peer employment training certificate, the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, WRAP training certificate, and a first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one. Knowledge and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi are essential.
