Position Overview

The organization is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the hospices. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong commitment to palliative care, capable of inspiring and managing a diverse team. The CEO will be responsible for shaping the future of the services, building community partnerships, and ensuring financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Vision: Provide strategic direction to achieve the hospice's mission and goals.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily operations to maintain high standards of care.
• Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets and resources for long-term sustainability.
• Community Engagement: Build relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and standards.
• Team Development: Create a supportive work environment and promote staff well-being.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should have proven leadership experience in healthcare or a related field, strong strategic planning and financial management skills, and a deep commitment to palliative care principles. Experience in fundraising and community relations is a plus, along with relevant tertiary qualifications in business or healthcare management.
