Client Accounting Manager Full-time Job

Position Overview

An established CA firm in Central Auckland is looking for a Senior BAS Team Member to join their rapidly growing practice. The role involves managing annual accounts, tax returns, and providing high-quality business advice to clients from various industries. The ideal candidate will have experience in a New Zealand accounting firm and a strong understanding of Xero packages as well as NZ IRD tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Principals and team members on client accounts
• Manage work flow and ensure jobs are completed within budget
• Act as the key contact point for client relationships
• Review work of junior team members
• Focus on technical compliance and value-added/advisory work

Requirements

• Past experience in a New Zealand Accounting firm at a reviewer/supervisory level
• Solid working experience with Xero packages and add-ons
• Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
• Experience in stakeholder management and client communication
• Engagement with outsourced providers is beneficial
