Overview
This is a permanent role based in one of the following New Zealand cities: Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton, Dunedin, or Wellington. The position is for a Clinical Advice Manager for Integrated Recovery at ACC (Accident Compensation Corporation).
About the Role
In this role, you will be part of a skilled interdisciplinary team that provides evidence-based clinical guidance to frontline teams. Your responsibilities will include optimizing rehabilitation outcomes for injured individuals, developing new integrated ways of delivering clinical advice, and working with various specialists to enhance frontline capability and improve outcomes. You will also participate in quality assessment and audit activities and contribute to the strategic direction of Clinical Services.
Key Skills Required
- Relevant medical, psychology, or other clinical qualification
- At least 5 years of clinical experience
- Current Annual Practising Certificate and professional medical indemnity insurance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in complex rehabilitation
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- High level of competence in using digital platforms
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with ACC systems and processes
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams within operational environments
- Proven success in managing self through change and uncertainty
- Understanding of ACC legislation
