As a CNS, you will lead the support of mental health professionals within the Intervention and Support Practice Team, delivering essential services to vulnerable individuals. This role is perfect for a clinical professional dedicated to promoting culturally safe practices and partnerships. Join us in demonstrating expert clinical practice with a focus on Humanising and Healing, respecting the dignity and mana of all individuals and their whānau.

About You

We are looking for candidates who align with our values and have the necessary qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a current Nursing Council of NZ Annual Practising Certificate. Cultural competence, including knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and experience working with Māori communities, is essential. You should have a background in Mental Health nursing across different settings and experience with acute and complex mental health and addiction issues.

Understanding the ethical and legislative requirements of providing mental health services in a prison context is critical. While a post-graduate qualification in Mental Health is preferred, we welcome applications from those working towards this qualification. The salary range for this role is $114,025 - $124,444, commensurate with experience and skills.
