Health and Safety Coordinator - Construction Industry
Location: South-East Auckland
Company: Established Construction Business
Role Overview:
- Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to identify and mitigate risks and hazards
- Administer and monitor health and safety and first aid training and certification requirements
- Support investigation of health and safety-related incidents and near-misses
- Develop emergency plans and procedures
- Coordinate with Health and Safety advisors and site managers to ensure compliance

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Health and Safety documentation for projects
- Manage supply of safety equipment and signage
- Compile Homestar evidence for projects
- Liaise with subcontractors and in-house staff for documentation
- Coordinate sub-contractors annual prequalification
Requirements:
- Proven experience in health and safety or compliance, preferably in construction
- Knowledge of NZ health and safety regulations
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Computer literacy and familiarity with project management systems
