Experienced Compliance Specialist Needed at Financial Service Provider

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team at a Financial Service provider in Auckland CBD. This position offers an ASAP start and the opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals under the leadership of a knowledgeable Compliance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the business adheres to FMA compliance regulations
• Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance matters
• Develop and apply compliance controls to mitigate risks
• Conduct control testing to ensure effectiveness
• Engage with stakeholders to drive internal awareness and compliance

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of FMA regulations
• Experience in 1st or 2nd line defense (preferably 2nd line)
• Proficiency in compliance controls development
• Ability to perform control testing
• Strong communication skills for driving positive changes
