The Role: Content Planner

If you are a content enthusiast and sports fanatic with experience in content scheduling, then this role is for you. As a Content Planner at Sky, you will be responsible for planning live events, high-profile series, and on-demand content for our beloved Sport channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule Sport channels in collaboration with offshore teams.
  • Schedule sports events, including live, replays, and highlights.
  • Ensure end-to-end scheduling excellence for content, commercials, and promos.
  • Execute schedules in IBMS prioritizing high-quality content delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless coordination and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the broader content strategy for the channel/platform.

What You Will Bring

The ideal candidate will have experience in content planning and scheduling in the broadcasting industry. While a passion for sports is a bonus, it is not a prerequisite. Key requirements include:

  • 1+ years of experience in TV/broadcasting industry
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of automated scheduling systems
  • Understanding of Broadcast Standards Authority regulations
  • Legal right to work in NZ
