Sound Designer Full-time Job

Join Our Team as a Sound Designer in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand

We are looking for experienced Sound Designers to become part of our talented team in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand. This is a full-time position, offering 40 hours a week of exciting opportunities in sound design for games. If you are passionate about creating 'dark and gritty' sounds and have the required experience, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Design dark and gritty sound effects from concept to implementation
• Create audio using a firm grasp of engineering practices, including recording techniques
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure high-quality audio that aligns with the studio's artistic vision
• Attend team meetings to provide updates on project status and progress

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in audio for games or 3+ years in a related field (studio work or film/television)
• Proficiency with Pro Tools, Reaper, or equivalent DAW
• Familiarity with FMOD or other audio engine tools
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn new tools quickly
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Passion for creating unique and immersive sound experiences
• Portfolio or reel showcasing relevant skills
• Willingness to complete a test if required
