Overview

This 3-month contract position requires an onsite presence in East Auckland. The role primarily involves providing hardware, software, and Microsoft Suite support to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's ICT systems and desktop devices.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and respond to service desk calls and monitoring tools
  • Maintain ICT systems and desktop devices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Provide technical support for problem diagnosis and resolution
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware
  • Offer network support and software installation and maintenance
  • Coordinate equipment servicing and repairs
  • Maintain documentation and inventory records
  • Collaborate with internal and external agencies for system maintenance

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Customer surveys and feedback
  • Service Desk System metrics
  • Achievement against annual objectives

Ideal Skills & Experience

  • MSTS A+ or MCP Certification preferred
  • ITIL Foundation Qualification desirable
  • Strong technical skills in hardware and software maintenance
  • Proficiency in PC hardware, operating systems, and software applications
  • Knowledge of specific technologies such as Windows, Microsoft Office, and databases
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
