Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at Transformation Academy in Northcote, Auckland. As a part of our organization, you will be responsible for working with 16-25 year old students who are considered youth at risk. Your primary focus will be on providing support, guidance, and education to help these individuals overcome their obstacles and achieve their goals.

What We Are Looking For:

• Self-motivated individual who can take initiative and adapt to changing situations
• Passionate about making a positive impact and helping young people succeed
• Experience or qualifications in teaching and assessing are a plus, but not mandatory
• Ability to think outside the box and use creative approaches to engage students
• Positive attitude and resilience in the face of adversity

Responsibilities:

As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with students through creative arts, music, design, or trades
• Implementing interest-based learning strategies to promote student growth
• Creating a fun and active learning environment for students
• Supporting students in their personal and academic development
• Collaborating with stakeholders, parents, and funders to demonstrate the impact of your work

Benefits and Compensation:

This is a casual or fixed-term role with a competitive hourly rate of $25 - $32 per hour. If you prove yourself, there may be opportunities for growth within the organization. Your dedication and commitment will play a significant role in shaping the future of our students and the community.
