Responsibilities
- Lead a team of four in the Wellington office
- Manage customer needs and enhance service delivery
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations for excellent customer service
- Act as the primary escalation point for issue resolution
- Identify upselling opportunities and guide customers through the freight forwarding process
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding in New Zealand
- Comprehensive knowledge of sea freight and airfreight processes
- Proven leadership skills with a passion for motivating and developing teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Interpersonal skills to engage positively with various stakeholders
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for reporting tasks
