Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of four in the Wellington office
  • Manage customer needs and enhance service delivery
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations for excellent customer service
  • Act as the primary escalation point for issue resolution
  • Identify upselling opportunities and guide customers through the freight forwarding process
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding in New Zealand
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sea freight and airfreight processes
  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for motivating and developing teams
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Interpersonal skills to engage positively with various stakeholders
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for reporting tasks
