About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about digital and community engagement that promotes health equity for Māori and Pacific Peoples? Starship's Digital and Community Engagement (D&CE) service is at the forefront of transforming healthcare by championing cultural diversity and inclusivity. As a Content Producer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging content for Starship's digital platforms, aligning with the core principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in Te Reo Māori and/or Pacific languages and cultural knowledge to connect with diverse communities. You will be responsible for developing content for websites, social media, and mobile applications that resonate with Māori and Pacific families.

If you have experience in digital content creation, a relevant tertiary qualification, and a passion for promoting child safety and flourishing families, we encourage you to apply. Part-time hours are negotiable for the right candidate to ensure work-life balance.

Key Skills Required

  • Fluency in Te Reo Māori and/or Pacific People's language(s)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in production, digital, design, or radio
  • Experience in creating engaging digital content for diverse audiences
  • Ownership of end-to-end production processes
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Engagement with Māori and/or Pacific communities
  • Full driver's license
