Job Description

The School of Graduate Studies at The University of Auckland is seeking a candidate for the role of managing multiple doctoral examinations. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing expert advice, organizing all aspects of doctoral examinations, assessing examiner nominations, and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on policies and guidelines related to doctoral examinations
  • Organize all aspects of doctoral examinations
  • Assess examiner nominations and reports
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification with 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a large complex organization, preferably in the tertiary sector. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and an understanding of the doctoral lifecycle are essential.

Benefits

The University of Auckland offers a competitive salary range of $58,300 - $72,700 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Other benefits include flexible working practices, company superannuation scheme, parental leave allowance, childcare, and career development programs.
