Are you passionate about content creation and digital media? Urban List is offering a unique opportunity to join its Editorial team based in Auckland. As the NZ Editor, you will collaborate with a dynamic group of editors spread across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Your role will involve creating, managing, and distributing engaging and brand-aligned content to drive audience growth and enhance engagement across all Urban List channels.

Key Responsibilities

Content Curation and Analysis

• Create and manage compelling content using SEO best practices and digital analytics to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with freelance creators to achieve audience and engagement goals.
• Conceptualize innovative content ideas to differentiate Urban List's NZ coverage and enhance brand awareness.

Audience Growth and Engagement

• Develop and execute strategies to foster engagement with Urban List's NZ audience.
• Analyze audience metrics to optimize content performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Enhance brand visibility and outreach processes for Urban List.

Partnerships and Thought Leadership

• Represent Urban List at industry events and media engagements to expand the network.
• Monitor trends, competitor landscape, and industry best practices to position Urban List as a thought leader.

Revenue Generation

• Contribute to affiliate goals and revenue generation initiatives.
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue growth for Urban List.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in online content creation and management.
• Deep understanding of SEO, digital analytics, and social media platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion and knowledge of the NZ small business and hospitality landscape.
