About the Position

Entain Australia and New Zealand are seeking an Executive Producer to join their team at SENZ, the hub of sports radio and online content. As an Executive Producer, you will be responsible for driving the production process for key shows such as Breakfast, Mornings, Afternoons, and Drive. Your role will involve working closely with hosts to create engaging and high-quality content that resonates with Kiwi sports fans.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

To excel in this role, you should ideally have a university qualification in journalism or communications, along with solid experience in radio automation systems, audio editing, and paneling. A strong understanding of sports, particularly Rugby, Cricket, NRL, and Racing, is essential, as well as a creative drive and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include pre-show planning, in-show monitoring, and post-show content sharing and coordination.

Work Environment

While the role is based in the Parnell office in Auckland, there may be occasional opportunities for remote work. The day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the show, ensuring compliance with media laws, and generating engaging content both on and off the air. The role also involves collaborating with talent and contributors, coaching and encouraging hosts, and managing client and prize commitments.
