Your New Role

As the Estimator/Quantity Surveyor based in Wanaka, you will work closely with the Commercial Manager, project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. This role involves end-to-end Quantity Surveying responsibilities, from Pre-Construction Estimating to Post-Contract Quantity Surveying. Your duties will include preparing tender documents, cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and monthly cost reporting.

What You Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you should be degree qualified in Construction Management/Quantity Surveyor or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction projects in the NZ/AUS market. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in using CostX measurement and estimating functions. Knowledge of NZ Standards methods of measurement and contractual negotiations is crucial for success in this position.
