Role Overview

As an Event Manager at Starship Foundation, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and promoting engaging events that contribute to fundraising goals, support partner relationships, and strengthen the foundation's brand. Reporting directly to the Head of Brand and Communications, you will play a crucial role in delivering internal and external events while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver internal and external events, including venue selection, stakeholder communication, logistics coordination, budget management, and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with team members and partners to create compelling events and enhance brand experiences.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the foundation by aligning event activities with broader communication strategies.
• Manage the annual event calendar, develop innovative event concepts, monitor budgets, and stay informed about industry trends.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under pressure.

Key Requirements

• Four or more years of event management experience, covering both in-person and online events.
• A tertiary qualification in event management, communications, or marketing is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage external partners and service providers.
• Strong time and project management abilities to ensure successful event execution.
• A genuine passion for the mission and goals of the Starship Foundation.
