The Diocese is seeking a part-time Editor for their transitioning digital newspaper, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated news/digital team. The role involves leading the editorial function, writing compelling content, and shaping the newspaper's innovative digital presence.
Responsibilities
The Editor will be responsible for writing and editing innovative and relevant content, contributing to the bishop's communication mission, and engaging with the Catholic community through news, commentary, analysis, and reflections. The ideal candidate should have strong editorial and writing abilities, experience in digital news publishing, and a collaborative approach to work.
Requirements
- Experienced in writing and editing content for publications
- Familiarity with digital news publishing
- Journalistic skills including editing, layout, proofreading, and headline writing
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Understanding and alignment with the teachings of the Catholic Church

Location and Compensation
