Youthline South Auckland is on the lookout for a dedicated and professionally registered Face-to-Face Counsellor to join their team on a full-time fixed-term basis until June 2025. This role involves providing short-term therapeutic intervention for young people aged 12-24 in alignment with the contract with CMDHB.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Full registration with DAPAANZ or Te Whatu Ora Accreditation
  • A recognized tertiary qualification in a therapeutic field
  • Current APC and affiliation with HPCA or DAPAANZ
  • Demonstrated experience in person-centered, pluralistic, and strengths-based therapy
  • Strong leadership, relationship development, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to professional development and engagement in clinical supervision
  • Understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and a commitment to culturally competent service delivery
