Are you a psychologist, psychotherapist, mental health nurse, social worker, AOD practitioner, counsellor, or occupational therapist? If so, we invite you to be a part of our award-winning, supportive, and multi-disciplinary team in West Auckland.

Role Overview

As a Health Improvement Practitioner, you will work in our GP clinics, providing general, mental, and physical health support to our diverse communities. This role involves collaborating with multicultural GP teams, health coaches, and community support workers to promote well-being in routine GP care.

Who We Are

Tāmaki Health's Wellness Support Team (WST) was established in 2012 and is led by primary mental health psychiatrist Dr. David Codyre. The team provides holistic support to people of all ages with various well-being needs. Tāmaki Health is a primary care network dedicated to providing affordable, accessible, and high-quality healthcare services to communities across New Zealand.

Requirements

- Post-graduate qualification in therapeutic work - Registration with a relevant body under the HPCA Act or full membership with NZAC - Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting - Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic models - Passion for delivering group programs
