About the Role:

This autonomous role involves working alongside the Accounts Assistant and reporting directly to the Managing Director. The responsibilities include a wide range of accounting tasks, from tax reporting and financial statement preparation to managing company bank accounts. The position is ideal for someone looking to balance work with personal commitments or seeking a rewarding part-time career.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day accounts administration
  • Maintenance of accounting records for trust companies
  • Preparation of financial reports
  • Assisting with annual audits
  • GST and tax return preparation
  • Payroll support
  • Management of company bank accounts

Requirements:

  • CA or CPA qualified, or working towards certification
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with trusts is advantageous
  • Team player with a willingness to learn
  • MYOB experience is beneficial
