Job Details

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end closing processes
  • Conduct inventory management and reconciliations (NZ & USA) and calculate COGS
  • Oversee set-up of new inventory items, product categories
  • Ensure completion of all month-end journals
  • Liaise with USA Sales manager on monthly results, inventory, invoicing
  • Manage Balance Sheet and major GL account reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and month-end reporting packages
  • Perform royalty calculations and validate store rebates
  • Assist auditors with annual auditing
  • Lead and manage the Assistant Accountant

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting plus CA Qualified
  • At least 3 years experience in a senior accounting role
  • Experience in a distribution or manufacturing business

Skills:

  • People management experience desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or other ERP system
  • Experience in ERP implementation highly desirable
