The opportunity:

The finance team at MC is growing. This is a new opportunity for someone wanting to take that next step into a finance team leader role. You will support the Finance Director and be involved in the overarching finance function. Supporting and inspiring the small, collaborative team to continue their recognized contribution to the firm.

Some of what the role entails:

• Work with the Finance Director to execute MC's financial strategies and goals
• Oversee and support the day-to-day function of the finance team
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the partnership
• Robust analysis of variances to budget
• Generate team and practice group financial reporting for partners
• Help deliver key finance projects and operational plan milestones
• Oversee the AML and trust functions
• Look for process improvement opportunities

The experience we are looking for:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability executed in a similar role
• Professional services financial accounting experience ideal but not essential
• Someone looking for their next step into a team leadership role
• Trust account experience ideal but not essential
• Experience with process improvement
• Excellent communication with a high customer service mentality
