Financial Controller Full-time Job

A remarkable opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller role in a successful privately owned company based in East Tamaki, New Zealand. The company is currently experiencing strong growth and expansion into the Australian market. They are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take charge of finance, IT, HR, and payroll operations, while providing strategic input to the Directors. Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and compliance tasks including monthly reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections.
• Manage finance operations such as tax, payroll, and internal controls.
• Develop financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to support the company's growth objectives.
• Lead human resources activities, payroll, and compensation strategies.
• Oversee information technology functions and ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller in NZ or Australia.
• Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant with CA firm experience.
• Experience in light manufacturing and stock systems preferred.
• Prior work experience in small to medium-sized privately owned businesses.
• Must be currently living in NZ with the right to work in the country.
