Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to meet with families, assist them in planning and organizing funerals, and ensure that their wishes are carried out with utmost respect and sensitivity. Your role will involve guiding families through the funeral process, being a calm problem solver, and providing assistance and support during their time of need.

Requirements

• Excellent personal presentation
• Empathetic disposition
• Physical fitness for heavy lifting
• Attention to detail
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Comfortable with operating AV equipment and other technology
• Willingness to learn and undergo training
• Clean Full NZ Driver’s License and Police Record
• Valid working rights for NZ

Preferred Qualifications

While previous experience in funeral direction or event management is preferred, full training and support will be provided to the successful applicant. Dil’s Funeral Services values individuals who are willing to learn and grow in their role.
