The Opportunity

As a Governance Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the Te Whatu Ora Data & Digital Design Councils and subgroups. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring effective governance, decision-making, and alignment with strategic goals
• Planning agendas and providing secretariat support
• Tracking actions, crafting reports, and supporting decision-making
• Guiding and offering feedback on meeting materials
• Overseeing governance tasks and ensuring policy and obligation compliance
• Collaborating nationally and internationally to shape the Data & Digital Roadmap
• Identifying strategic and operational risks

Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

• Minimum 5 years of governance and decision support experience
• Ability to facilitate, influence, and connect people to resolve complex issues
• Comfortability with managing ambiguity and delivering to deadlines
• Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi and knowledge of the New Zealand health system
