Graduate Program Details

A Typical Day for Graduates

Graduates at CMW Geosciences are involved in field-based roles that require them to perform tasks such as logging boreholes, conducting soil testing, and observing construction sites. Whether on-site or in the office, they will work on processing data, writing reports, and supporting project managers in various deliverables.

The projects at CMW Geosciences are varied, ranging from community housing developments to wind farms and airport testing sites. This diversity allows graduates to gain experience across different industries and locations.

To be eligible for the graduate program, candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Earth Science, a willingness to perform fieldwork, and the ability to travel as needed. Other requirements include good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a full driver's license in New Zealand or Australia.

Selected candidates will enjoy benefits such as additional leave on their birthday, training opportunities, membership to professional bodies, a graduate training program, social events, and a wellbeing allowance.
