Job Description:
The Group Manager Risk, Audit, and Assurance will provide strategic leadership and coordination responsibilities for risk and issue management, assurance, and audit functions across the Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG) at Health NZ l Te Whatu Ora.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the national view of risks, issues, audit practices, and assurance for the IIG
- Develop and implement risk, audit, and assurance frameworks
- Oversee the delivery of assurance, risk, and issue reporting
- Guide, train, and mentor IIG staff
- Prepare reports and presentations for committees
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in Risk Management and/or Audit
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies
- Experience in preparing reports for committees
- Understanding of infrastructure life cycle and investment delivery
- Experience in strategy development and implementation
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a related field
- Clear strategic and analytical thinking abilities
- Commitment to Te Tiriti partnership principles
