Guest Services Agent Full-time Job

Key points:

- Part-time Guest Services Agent position at a 153-room hotel in Auckland Airport - Shifts available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM - Hourly rate: $25.50 - Minimum 20 hours per week

Job requirements:

- Confident, motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented - Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks - Flexible, adaptable, and a team player - Full driver's license - NZQF level 2 or 3 or at least one year of relevant experience

Job responsibilities:

- Check guests in and out efficiently - Provide exceptional customer service - Follow security and emergency procedures - Maintain knowledge of room categories and amenities - Handle guest requests and phone calls - Assist with porter duties, luggage handling, and other hotel tasks - Clean and maintain public areas - Prepare and serve food and beverages for room service - Handle reservations and accommodation arrangements - Address and resolve guest complaints

Qualifications:

- NZQF level 2 or 3 (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) or one year of relevant experience

Skills:

- Excellent customer service skills - Strong communication and organizational abilities - Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment - Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and procedures
