Hobsonville Point Secondary School is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced school counsellor to become a part of our dedicated Te Ara Manaaki Student Services team. What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this role will be empathetic, supportive, and have a strong advocacy for the well-being of students. We are seeking someone who can effectively manage risks, collaborate with various stakeholders including families, colleagues, and external organizations, and champion diversity and inclusion within our school community.

Applicants should hold a provisional or full membership with NZAC (New Zealand Association of Counsellors) and must have practical experience in utilizing strengths-based and narrative counselling approaches. While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who are registered teachers.
