Permanent Part Time Social Worker Position at Auckland City Hospital
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team at Auckland City Hospital in the Integrated Stroke and Neurology Rehabilitation Service. This is a Permanent Part Time role (0.6FTE) that offers continuous professional development opportunities and a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment and innovative care to patients
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals
- Participate in after-hours, on-site, and on-call rosters
- Offer social work services to patients and families in need
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- New Zealand Registered Social Worker with current practicing certificate
- Proven experience in health social work, grief and loss, and family violence intervention
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a bicultural hospital environment
