Overview

The Alliance Française d'Auckland, a non-profit organization accredited by the Fondation des Alliances françaises, is dedicated to promoting the French language in the Auckland region through linguistic and cultural activities. As part of the global network of Alliance Française, they are currently seeking a Course Manager to oversee their educational programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs
• Coordinate the training process
• Manage teaching staff
• Set and achieve strategic course development goals
• Organize and administer language proficiency exams
• Stay updated on pedagogical and regulatory trends

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Previous experience in teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE)
• Familiarity with the CECRL framework and evaluation tools
• Knowledge of FLE pedagogical resources and programs
• French proficiency at C2 level and English proficiency at C1 level
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Location and Compensation

Location: Remuera, Auckland

Salary: $62,400 – $72,800 per year

This is a full-time position with a 45-hour workweek, varying according to the academic calendar and course schedule.
