About the Role
The position reports to the Chief Operating and Financial Officer and involves shaping and implementing the technology roadmap and ongoing service delivery. Responsibilities include developing and executing the technology strategy, managing technology services, overseeing strategic projects, and leading a high-performing technology team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the technology strategy and roadmap
- Establish an efficient technology operating model
- Lead technology services and strategic projects
- Manage local and global service providers
- Drive the cyber security risk management program
- Represent NZ at key governance forums
Qualifications and Skills
- Deep technology and life insurance experience
- Previous leadership experience in projects and technology operations
- Ability to work across the entire technology stack
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments and meeting deadlines
- Passion for continuous improvement and customer experience
