Job Description Optimization for HR Consultant Position
Job Responsibilities
- Providing knowledgeable HR support within assigned portfolios on organization theory, practice, design, and implementation
- Supporting talent management by advising Managers on appropriate structure, job design, competency requirements, and position description development
- Providing coaching to Managers on the effective delivery of HR processes and practices
- Advising managers on employment relations matters, including disciplinary and performance management
- Ensuring grievances/disputes are addressed in a professional and timely manner
- Providing proactive HR support to managers regarding any initiative for change to employee roles and responsibilities
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years working as a HR Advisor
- Practical knowledge of employment legislation
- Employment relations and/or industrial relations experience
- Experience in a large, complex organization preferably unionized
