Job Description Optimization for HR Consultant Position

Job Responsibilities

• Providing knowledgeable HR support within assigned portfolios on organization theory, practice, design, and implementation
• Supporting talent management by advising Managers on appropriate structure, job design, competency requirements, and position description development
• Providing coaching to Managers on the effective delivery of HR processes and practices
• Advising managers on employment relations matters, including disciplinary and performance management
• Ensuring grievances/disputes are addressed in a professional and timely manner
• Providing proactive HR support to managers regarding any initiative for change to employee roles and responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years working as a HR Advisor
• Practical knowledge of employment legislation
• Employment relations and/or industrial relations experience
• Experience in a large, complex organization preferably unionized
