Job Description: Intermediate Accountant- Business Advisory Position

Overview:

DFK Oswin Griffiths Carlton Ltd, a medium-sized CA firm in Auckland CBD, is seeking a talented and motivated Business Advisory Intermediate Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the Business Advisory Services team, working with a diverse client base.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns
• Handling GST, FBT, and other tax-related tasks
• Preparation of management accounts, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
• Assisting partners and managers with client portfolios
• Supporting with ad hoc operational and strategic tasks

Skills and Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience in business services
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and familiarity with Reckon APS
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Good understanding of NZ tax and financial reporting requirements
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously or in a team

What We Offer:

This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of $66,000 - $70,000 per year, dependent on experience. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week commitment.
