Your Role in the Team

As an intermediate civil engineer, you will be involved in a wide range of projects spanning residential, land development, commercial, infrastructure, and local government sectors on a national scale. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced CPEng engineers who will support your professional growth, challenge your abilities, and provide you with opportunities to enhance your skills on a daily basis.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects
  • Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and assessments
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs, calculations, and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure project objectives are met
  • Participate in project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards

Qualifications and Skills Required

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the Auckland/Northland regions
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and CAD programs, particularly Civil 3D
  • Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations
